I’m Momma Lisa!

How to write a snippet of your life, when you actually have no idea what to say.

Wearing many different hats at once can make the mind wonder where it is going and where it has been.

I call myself Lala, mom, wife, daughter, friend, caretaker, hand holder, cook, business owner and the list goes on.

I’m sure many of you can say the same, many of you resonate with the unlimited list of titles we hold.

Through this blog my goal is to open up about my experiences wearing all of these hats/labels. The good, the bad, the crazy, the unbelievable, the heaven sent and the rewards.

Born in 1967, graduate in 1985, married in 1987, babies 1989, 1991, and 1996, Lala in 2023.

We live in south eastern Ohio, children live close, parents live close. My husband is still working, closing in on retirement. Lost my father in Dec. 2024. Helping my mother navigate.

Lived a sandwich life, having children return home with a spouse for a time. Providing care for my parents throughout my father’s illness. Working fulltime, parttime, all the time.

Life is different, life is complex, life is fun, life is predictable, life is unpredictable.

However, we only get one shot.

What do we do with it..

How do we enjoy it..
